Commander’s Note
I hope everyone’s week is going well. It’s only January 13th, and there is already so much happening in 2026 at Victory Post 70.
I’d like to kindly remind those of you who have not yet paid your 2026 dues that you are currently in a grace period through the end of the month regarding your continuous years.
Please don’t let your continuous years expire. Members whose dues have expired will be asked to bring them current before utilizing the canteen,
including but not limited to public days such as Friday dinners and Saturdays. This applies to all entities of our Post.
You may also be receiving a reminder letter in the mail.
This Saturday at the Post will be a busy and exciting day. Kevin and Genie Kocher will be hosting a going-away party for their daughter,
Bella, who has decided to join our military ranks by enlisting in the United States Navy.
Rick and Randy will be playing that evening, and Kevin and Genie will be providing food for the event.
Alongside the going-away party, we will also be hosting a Tally Euchre Tournament with a $20 buy-in.
The going-away party begins at 4:00 PM, and the Euchre Tournament will start at 5:00 PM.
Come enjoy a great evening at the Post, wish Bella well, and have some fun playing cards.
As many of you know, we continue to move forward with our America’s 250 Challenge in partnership with the
American Red Cross by hosting blood drives every other month.
Our next blood drive will be on Sunday, February 22nd, beginning at 9:00 AM.
Walk-ins are always welcome; however, scheduling an appointment does help the American Red Cross staff.
Donors will receive a $20 e-gift card to a merchant of their choice.

The next Legionnaire meeting will be held on Monday, January 19th.
Our next Friday night dinner will be on January 23rd, featuring
Jukebox Memories as the evening’s band.
I hope everyone has a great week, and I look forward to seeing you at the Post.
